The World Bank is recruiting five consultants to fill key positions in
the Support Office for Eastern Indonesia (SOfEI) based in Makassar, Indonesia.
National Consultants (5 positions), Contracted full time
Until 31 December 2009 (with opportunity for extension)
Based in Makassar, South Sulawesi province
- Coordinator, Knowledge Exchange and Adoption will be responsible for leading SOfEI’s knowledge exchange program, which promotes adoption of good practices and reforms through knowledge sharing. This position reports to SOfEI’s Executive director.
- Senior Local Development Specialist will lead SOfEI’s Local Initiatives Program, which requires identifying locally owned development initiatives suitable for support and replication. This position reports to SOfEI’s Executive Director.
- Web Content Manager manages all aspects of BAKTI website and internet portal content, which requires conceptualizing and planning and writing of new content, researching and identifying content areas. This position reports to SOfEI’s Coordinator, Knowledge Exchange and Adoption.
- Local Development Analyst support high quality analysis of development challenges and responses in the area of local governance, service delivery and participatory development, supports the management of program activities. This position reports to SOfEI’s Senior Local Development Specialist.
- Business Development Adviser provides technical and management advisory support to the SOfEI’s Executive director to develop a clear, achievable and measurable business plan for BAKTI focused on long term sustainability. This position reports to SOfEI’s Executive Director
